    • Concept: please specify your name and surname
    • Please check bank transfer costs through your bank. All foreign bank transfers to our account have a charge of US$ 18.00, which you should consider within your transfer costs. All bank transfer costs are at your expense, and cannot be met by Andean Skyline.

  • Money transfer via Western Union. Details below:
    • Name: Carlos Núñez

    • This payment method is recommended for payments under US$700 as they are usually cheaper than bank transfers. Please check the Western Union website for more details or for information on the nearest agent location. When using this payment method, please provide us with the corresponding Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).

  • Credit card payment, see below:

The following credit card is accepted, with the specified surcharge to cover credit card costs:

    • Visa (plus 8% surcharge)

  • Credit card payment in USA, ask for this payment via email.

The due amount should be paid at Cusco office or in your hotel at least TWO DAYS prior to the trek departure date, and in the following manner:

  • Cash (US$ or local currency – the Peruvian nuevo sol);

Important: Bookings should be made as far in advance as possible; for example, there is high demand for the 4 day/3 night Inca Trail all year and we recommend you make your reservation as soon as you have received our confirmation of availability.

Single Accommodation: Prices are based on twin room accommodation; a single supplement is available and single accommodation can be provided on request and at an additional cost.

Cancellations: In our experience a certain percentage of bookings are cancelled by the client before departure due to some unforeseen circumstance. The penalty for any cancellation of services depends on the date of cancellation, in accordance with the following guidelines (Please note: In the event of cancellation at any time after confirming the purchase of your Inca Trail permit, we will be obliged to charge the full cost of that permit):

  • 45 days or more before the date of the start of services: only bank charges will not be refunded (except in the case of the Inca Trail permit).
  • 44 to 30 days before the date of the start of services: 30% of the deposit will not be refunded.
  • 29 to 16 days before the date of the start of services: 40% of the deposit will not be refunded.
  • 15 to 07 days before the date of the start of services: 50% of the deposit will not be refunded.
  • 06 to 0 days before the date of the start of services: 100% of the deposit will not be refunded.

Regarding cancellation of Inca Trail reservations:
In this case of advance payments for the different treks which include the Inca Trail, such as Inca Trail 4 days/3 nights and Inca Trail 2 days/1 night, the costs of these treks are non-returnable, and include entrance tickets to the Inca Trail, porters, cooks and train tickets. This is because these services are reserved and paid for at the time of booking and these payments are non-returnable.

Failure to Arrive (No show): We will retain the full amount paid and will not be responsible for the failure of the client to arrive due to cancelled or delayed flights. Andean Skyline is not responsible for damage to or loss of luggage, accidents, unforeseen expenses, unavoidable delays, services provided by third parties or direct or indirect causes beyond our control. In the unfortunate event of a no show due to unforeseen circumstances, the company will provide a certificate to the client for insurance purposes.

Insurance: It is obligatory for all travellers to be adequately insured against personal accident and medical costs. We recommend a short term insurance policy that covers the trip selected with cover in the event of illness, accident, emergency evacuation, costs incurred due to flight delays, schedule changes, delays caused by bad weather, missed connections, strikes, natural disasters, or any unforeseeable events.

About Mountainous Terrain: The mountainous areas where Andean Skyline operates its many programs have a geographical configuration which in its natural state may present difficulties or dangers that may be concealed by snow, grass or vegetation. Some of these difficulties or obstacles might include loose rocks, trees, accumulated vegetation, fast flowing rivers carrying rocks or stones, fallen vegetation, hollows or depressions below the surface, varying water quality and difficult climatic conditions. Due to the presence of natural forests, rough and rugged terrain or bad weather, participants might become lost or separated from their guides or the rest of the group. Communication in mountainous terrain is often difficult and in the case of an accident, immediate rescue and medical assistance may be unavailable. Weather conditions may be extreme and can change quickly and without warning.

Action in case of emergency: In the event of an accident or illness during a trekking activity, Andean Skyline, through its guides or support personnel, will provide all the help possible and if specialist evacuation is required (helicopters, doctors, nurses and other medical assistance beyond first aid treatment) Andean Skyline will not be financially responsible for such services.

At the time of the tour: Our Booking Conditions clearly state that in the event of a passenger leaving the tour for any reason, any extra expenses are the passenger’s own responsibility and the company shall not be liable for any refund, either total or partial, of money paid for any unused services.
In the event of a client leaving the tour of their own volition before completion through sickness, ill health or any other reason whatsoever, all responsibility that the company may bear to the client will immediately cease.
However, the company may provide the client with a written certificate detailing unused services and for insurance purposes only.

Finally, we would like to thank you choosing to travel with Andean Skyline and we look forward to meeting you in Cusco.
